The Bloom Unfolding
Within me lies a seed that has yet to bloom, patiently waiting for the right soil to take root.
When a seed is buried in the earth, its first instinct isn't to reach for the sky; its to grow its roots. But in poor soil, ,those roots struggle to live long enough to see the light. My story began there ... in the pursuit of good soil.
From nights when my family slept on the cold pavement to the life we now live beyond the means of survival, my parents have always been the clearest example of what resilience, and perseverance can grow. They taught me that even when conditions are harsh, hope can still take root. Having stemmed from a family that carried the silent weight of language barriers, financial strain, and uncertainty, I learned that early on that strength begins underground. Unseen, yet essential.
As a little girl I remember running to my backyard with a box of tulips, eager to see them bloom by sundown. You can imagine how disappointed nine-year old me was when I learned it takes far more than a few hours for a flower to grow. What I didn't realize then was that patience and faith are the quiet gardeners of every dream.
If you're in a season of waiting wondering when your bloom will come, please remember that roots grow long before blossoms appear. The most sacred growth often happens beneath the surface, where no one can see. Stay faithful in the soil you've been planted in. Water your dreams with prayer, patience, and purpose, In time, what's meant for you will bloom beautifully. I'd love to hear if anything I mentioned has spoken to your heart, feel free to share down below in the comments section! And again, thank you for being apart of this journey.
With Love,
