Autumn in Southern California is a palette, not a temperature. Dahlias, garden roses in amber, terracotta and plum, sunflowers and chrysanthemums peak late September through November — and because autumn stems turn over fast, each arrangement is composed from what is strongest that week.
Tradition gives every rose count a meaning — a dozen says “be mine,” 25 says congratulations, 50 means unconditional love, and 100 is devotion. Color matters just as much: red for romance, pink for gratitude, white for new beginnings, yellow for friendship. Choose the message first, then the number.
Six to twelve months before the wedding is the sweet spot, and earlier for a peak-season Saturday between April and October. A 25% deposit secures your date, and the proposal — mood, palette, investment — follows a consultation. If your date is closer, send the inquiry anyway.

Most fresh arrangements last a week or more with five habits: a clean vase, stems re-trimmed at an angle, water changed every two days, a spot out of direct sun and away from heat and ripening fruit, and no leaves below the waterline. The first hour after delivery matters most.
