Dark Romance Box is a hand-finished Divina after Dark arrangement of red peonies, red spray roses, black roses, speckled dark-purple vanda orchids, and black calla lilies in a black hat box, delivered across the Inland Empire. It's the one for someone who wants Halloween to look expensive.
A tight cluster of dyed black roses sits off-center, with bright red spray roses on one side and full red peonies on the other. Burgundy pompon dahlias fill the gaps, black calla lilies curl out at the edges, and three dark vanda orchids with gold-flecked speckling are placed where the eye lands first. Smoke-bush foliage and near-black ornamental kale finish the edge of the box so nothing pale shows.
Roughly 15 black roses, 15 red spray roses, 5 red peonies, 8 burgundy dahlias, 3 vanda orchids, 6 black calla lilies, smoke-bush foliage, and black kale, placed by hand in our Fontana studio. Your box will carry the same form with its own natural variation.
Who it's for: a Halloween anniversary, a date-night surprise in October, a gothic wedding or engagement, a milestone birthday for someone who dresses in black, or a Halloween party centerpiece that stays on the table past the party. It arrives ready to display; no vase needed.
How long will it last? Keep the box cool and out of direct sun and add fresh water every other day. Peonies and roses hold about a week; vanda orchids and calla lilies often last two, so the darkest parts of the box outlast the red.
