Boo Box is a hand-sculpted Halloween arrangement of white carnations shaped into a ghost, with black felt eyes and mouth and a black satin bow, rising out of a black hat box, delivered across the Inland Empire. It's the Divina after Dark piece that kids and grandparents both ask for.
The ghost is built on a carved foam form and covered edge to edge in white carnations, so the texture reads as fluffy from across the room. Two little arms reach out to the sides, the eyes and mouth are cut from black felt, and a wide black bow sits at the neck. The black box with a black handle finishes it; nothing green shows anywhere.
Roughly 120 white carnations, sculpted by hand in our Fontana studio. Your ghost will carry the same form with its own natural variation.
Who it's for: a Halloween birthday, a classroom or office party, a front-desk piece for October, a gift for a kid or a kid at heart, a Halloween party centerpiece, or a get-well surprise for someone who needs a laugh. It arrives ready to display; no vase needed.
How long will it last? Keep it cool and out of direct sun, and mist it lightly every morning; the carnations drink from the foam form rather than from standing water. Carnations are long-lasting, so the ghost usually holds its shape for a week to ten days, long enough to see Halloween through.
