Little Lamb Basket in Blue is a hand-finished new-baby arrangement of blue carnations, blue hydrangea, white lisianthus, white spray roses, and chamomile daisies with white phalaenopsis orchids and white anthuriums, in a white wicker basket with a plush lamb sitting on the handle, delivered across the Inland Empire. It's the baby-boy gift that arrives with its own stuffed animal.
Ruffled powder-blue carnations and blue hydrangea are mixed with white lisianthus and white spray roses across a low, wide dome, with tiny chamomile daisies scattered through for a meadow feel. Two white phalaenopsis orchids sit at one end, two white anthuriums at the other. A frill of white tulle rings the basket, and a soft plush lamb with a blue flower on its ear perches on the handle. The lamb is a keepsake.
Roughly 15 blue carnations, 4 blue hydrangea, 10 white lisianthus, 12 white spray roses, chamomile, 2 phalaenopsis orchid stems, and 2 white anthuriums, placed by hand in our Fontana studio. Your basket will carry the same form with its own natural variation.
Who it's for: a baby boy's arrival, a hospital-room delivery, a baby shower or gender reveal, a first birthday, a christening, or a gift for the grandparents' house. It arrives in its basket, nothing to arrange.
How long will it last? Keep the basket cool and out of direct sun and add fresh water every other day; hydrangea drinks heavily, so check it daily. Spray roses and lisianthus hold about a week; carnations, orchids, and anthuriums often last two. The lamb stays.
