Scarlet Holly Box is a hand-finished Christmas arrangement of red roses, red anthuriums, and red chrysanthemums in a deep red hat box, delivered across the Inland Empire. One color, head to toe, is what makes it read as holiday without a single ornament.
Red roses fill the base in a soft dome. Three glossy red anthuriums sit on top like lacquer, red pompom mums and gerberas tuck in between, and plumes of red astilbe lift the whole thing a few inches higher. Dark burgundy foliage edges the box so the red has something to sit against.
Roughly 24 red roses, 3 red anthuriums, 6 red chrysanthemums, and 5 stems of red astilbe, placed by hand in our Fontana studio. Your box will carry the same form with its own natural variation.
Who it's for: a Christmas centerpiece, a hostess gift for a holiday dinner, a gift for parents or in-laws, an office or lobby arrangement for December, or a Christmas Eve delivery to someone you can't be with. It arrives ready to display; no vase needed.
How long will it last? Keep the box cool and away from heaters and fireplaces, and add fresh water every other day. Roses hold about a week; anthuriums and chrysanthemums often last two, so the box keeps its red long after the roses soften.
