Meringue Box is a hand-finished birthday arrangement of cream hydrangea, white phalaenopsis orchids, cream button mums, peach spray roses, white stock, and lavender hydrangea in a white hat box, delivered across the Inland Empire. It's as soft as a box of flowers gets.
The box is built in two halves. One side is cream: hydrangea heads with white phalaenopsis blooms laid across them and round cream button mums dotted through like meringues. The other side is pastel: peach spray roses, white stock, and lavender hydrangea packed together. The seam between the two runs diagonally, so from any angle you see both. No foliage shows.
Roughly 6 cream hydrangea, 3 lavender hydrangea, 6 phalaenopsis orchid blooms, 12 cream button mums, 20 peach spray roses, and 8 stems of white stock, placed by hand in our Fontana studio. Your box will carry the same form with its own natural variation.
Who it's for: a birthday for a mom, grandmother, or new mother; a baby shower or christening; a bridal shower; a get-well delivery that needs to be calm; an Easter or spring table; or a thank-you for someone who likes pastels. It arrives ready to display; no vase needed.
How long will it last? Keep the box cool and out of direct sun and add fresh water every other day; hydrangea drinks heavily, so check it daily. Spray roses and stock hold about a week; button mums and phalaenopsis orchids often last two, so the cream half stays full the longest.
