Peony Cloud Box is a hand-finished birthday arrangement of ivory hydrangea, pink peonies, and magenta cymbidium orchids in a blush-pink hat box with a satin ribbon handle, delivered across the Inland Empire. It's the softest big box we make, and the one that gets called "a cloud" more than any other.
Ivory and cream hydrangea heads build the dome, and full pink peonies are set into them at even intervals. Magenta cymbidium orchids with deep-pink lips are placed across the top, and they're what keeps the box from being all pastel. No foliage, no filler. The pink box and ribbon handle match the peonies almost exactly.
Roughly 8 ivory hydrangea, 10 pink peonies, and 9 cymbidium orchid blooms, placed by hand in our Fontana studio. Your box will carry the same form with its own natural variation.
Who it's for: a birthday for a mom, grandmother, sister, or best friend; a bridal shower or baby shower; a Mother's Day centerpiece; a first anniversary; or a thank-you for someone who loves pink and would never buy it for themselves. It arrives ready to display; no vase needed.
How long will it last? Keep the box cool and out of direct sun and add fresh water every other day; hydrangea drinks heavily, so check it daily. Peonies hold about five days and open fully along the way; hydrangea about a week; the cymbidium orchids often last two.
